Parents grew up on 78%. You say 8.2. They hear 82 or they hear nothing. Translate once, calmly. 8.2 × 9.5 = 77.9, and say the 9.5 is a common convert, not a medal from CBSE on this page. If you shout 82 from ×10, they will repeat 82 to relatives. Then a form with 9.5 makes you look like you fell. Do the convert on MarkBoard with them watching the multiplier box.

The number is not going to improve because I stare.
