How to use it
Put current obtained, current total already done, remaining papers max marks, and the target percent. Tool shows marks still required and the average per remaining paper.
Formula used: need = target% × grandTotal − currentObtained
This is an estimate. Your board formula may differ.
Questions people type
- Two papers left, equal marks?
- Average shown is equal split. You can score 90 in one and 60 in other. Math still holds on the sum.
- Target 75 for scholarship?
- Use the same percent they print on the form. Some want best of five, some want all papers.
- If need is more than remaining max?
- Then that target is not possible with remaining papers. Tool will say so. Ugly but honest.
